Foreign Policy Magazine has released their new “Failed States Index for 2008” ranking countries based on specific criteria. Pakistan has placed 9th.
What is interesting to me are the graphs that have been included to support the fact. For example, the powers of Parliament in a failed state:
And the growth of inflation on the status of being a Failed State:
But what saddens me, that even with all the political promises of the “new government,” Foreign Policy magazine shows Pakistan just a hair above the Gaza Strip and getting worse:

Obama would never have done this soft tyranny had he not seen the bottom dropping out of this poll numbers.
